For over 50 years, Baltimore Community Foundation (BCF) has inspired meaningful investment in the Baltimore region through impactful grantmaking, civic leadership, and strategic funding. To honor this legacy as BCF approached its 50th anniversary, Ashton partnered with the organization to reimagine its visual identity and bring warmth and purpose to its new office space. At the heart of the new branding is a “speech bubble” icon, symbolizing BCF’s role in connecting civic leaders, donors, and community members to foster open communication and community-focused programs. The office uses the brand’s bright secondary palette for a welcoming, functional design that divides the space into zones for community investment, donor services, communications, and finance. In the lobby, the Baltimore Community Foundation Gallery hosts rotating exhibitions from local artists, showcasing the organization’s commitment to the city’s creativity and growth. The result is a space that not only serves BCF’s team and visitors but also reflects the optimism and dedication that drive BCF’s vision for Baltimore’s future.
