About a month into my time at House of Current, I embarked on a journey to redesign our brand. Our goal was to create something that exuded both femininity and strength, with a touch of whimsy. We wanted to honor the agency’s rich history while embracing an exciting future. With my fresh perspective, it felt like the perfect moment to reimagine an already successful brand and give it a modern update. During the redesign process, we launched a completely new identity, including a refreshed logo, an overhaul of our social media presence, a revamped website, redesigned presentations and RFPs, and custom swag. We even had a few viral posts and introduced a special 10-year anniversary iteration of our logo.

New Photography

See above. Working closely with our Creative Director, I was able to art direct and prop style the new photography of our work. (And practice my hand modeling skills!)

A Peek into the Process

It all started with a brand discovery workshop, lead by me. It was messy, but necessary, in order to fully understand the goals of our project and the vision of our owners. We took over the spare room in the office and turned it into a space for collaboration, ideation, and creation.

After synthesizing our findings from the brand discovery phase, we started working on sketches - beginning with hand sketches and leading into digital. These were some of the final contenders of the sketching phase.
